Terra Orbis was founded to produce high-end visual content creation for galleries in the fine arts sector. Since then, we’ve expanded to encompass a wide range of artistic and business demands. We work on a bespoke basis with companies and individuals ranging across a wide array of industry sectors. We believe in sharp and impactful imagery that tells a story and allows viewers to effortlessly discover meaning and beauty.

Michael Assis is the founder and director of Terra Orbis. With over 15 years of experience in photography, graphic design, and motion editing, Michael has curated and created visuals for high-end art galleries, museums, real-estate and architectural projects, business and tech, and for many other consumer oriented businesses and private individuals. Beyond visual design, Michael holds a Master of Philosophy degree in Decorative Arts, Design History, and Material Culture, and Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts degrees in Philosophy and Art History. He is currently a doctoral candidate at Bard Graduate Center, where he writes on digital art and design.
